Rinchhen Kuenphen
Primary School was officially established in the year 1985, February 18th. The
School was segregated from Changangkha Lower Secondary School in two storied
building. It was probably done in order to reduce the congestion that the
former school had that time. Mr Karchung was then the Head master. He began the
school with just 200 students in 1985. Thereafter, several Head masters and
principals were changed with the increasing strength every year. The school
gradually becomes what it is now.
As the school made
progress and developed then, the new construction was proposed sometime in the
year 2005 and the total construction was completed in the year 2009. Mrs Yesang
Youden was then the Principal. The school then was boasted with several new
buildings and playgrounds.
It was in 2011, Mrs
Dolma, the present principal took over the school from Mrs Kesang Youden, the
former principal. Rinchhen Kuenphen School at present stands in the heart of
the city with its most beautiful environment, dynamic group of teachers, very
supportive parents and the most enthusiastic students. Currently the school
caters to 1005 students.
