ADMISSION POLICY:
  
Aims and Objectives:
·         To give education to every child as per national policy.
·         To have fair and systematic admission system.
·         To fulfill the vision, mission and goals of the school.
·         To fill up the vacancy.  

Responsibilities of Member:
·         Discuss criteria for the admission of children.
·         Find the number of vacant seats in each class.
·         Take interview of new students for cl.PP.
·         Check the child’s necessary documents.
·         Record the child’s necessary information in the admission register.
·         Check whether the child is dependent or not.
·         Collect money of admission forms. (Nu.100 for class PP and Nu.50 for transfer case)

Member for PP admission:
·         Principal
·         Vice Principal (Academic Head)
·         Concern PP Teachers
·         Admission committee.
  
Criteria for PP admission:
·         A child should be of age 6+
·         Physically and mentally fit.
·         Need to produce original health card.
·         Should be the direct child of the applicant.
·         Identity card of both the parents should be produced
·         Working certificate of the parents required with proper seal of the director/Head of the Department.
·         Letter from Thromde for the non-govt. servant.
·         In case of divorce, summit the agreement made between the two.
·         Children coming from private schools on transfer should also be of age and summit the above             mentioned documents as others.
·         Priority will be given to the children of the immediate ‘gewog’ and direct children of government
·         Employees  and  license holders of business community.
  
Admission of transfer case(1-6)
  Admission for the transferred students will be held in the month of February. They need     
  to meet the criteria given below and summit the following documents.

Criteria:
·         Will be discussed by the committee.
Documents to submit:
·         Result sheet
·         Parents transfer letter.
·         Photocopy of both parents ID card.
·         Working certificate of the parents.
·         Letter from the court in case of adoption.

·         Admission transfer students can be considered at any time of the year based on the genuineness of the case. However, the strength of the class has to be checked.
