Roles and Responsibilities

Class teacher
The important information will be further collected and disseminated by the concerned class teachers. It is the responsibilities of the class teacher to make the students in their class aware of the rules and regulation, polices make the latest updates. All the official announcement must be repeated or reminded once more in their respective class.

Roles and Responsibilities of Teachers on Duty (TOD)
1. Supervising and monitoring morning social work.
2. Holding Assembly and making necessary announcements.
3. Taking action/complimenting on the type of work children do.
4. Maintaining TOD’s register for a week and report to the management for necessary follow up  
  if any.
5. Monitoring children during lunch break.
6. Responsible for any disciplinary problems of the day.
7. Monitoring punctuality of Children.
8. Passing on the information to the staff as instructed by the Principal and VPs

Roles and Responsibilities of Class teachers
1. Taking daily attendance.
2. Keeping classroom neat and clean.
3. Organizing classrooms.
4. Organizing class activities /competitions.
5. Developing classroom rules & maintaining class discipline.
6. Knowing individual child / their background.
7. Counseling and guiding their members.
8. Promoting values /culture.
9. Enhancing quality Education.
10. Accountable and responsible for any class activities.
11. Appointing Class captain & class speakers.
12. Letting class captain realize his /her roles and taking the necessary steps.
13. Maintaining & updating students’ information and record.
14. Ensuring that students bring packed lunch & drinking water.
15. Orienting students on school rules & regulation.
16. Supervising SUPW & toilet cleaning & flower gardening.
17. Distribution of iron tablets and ensures that the students take it.
18. In case of class teacher being on leave/absent; the teacher on substitution will take the
    previous days lesson.

Roles and responsibilities of School Captains
  1. Maintaining discipline
  2. Supervising the SUPW in and out of the school compound
  3. Supervising evening prayer and assembly
  4. Informing housemaster/class teacher if any students misbehave or not doing assigned responsibilities
  5. Rendering help to all when needed
  6. Maintaining LITTER FREE in the school
  7. Controlling the ban of package food
Roles and responsibilities of Class Captains
  1. Taking care of teaching aids, brooms, and furniture belonging to respective classes
  2. Monitoring classroom cleaners daily and reporting to class teacher when they do not do their duty.
  3. Closing classroom windows and lock the door after class hours
  4. Keeping classroom free of papers, dust and unwanted materials all the time
  5. Inform TOD when there is no teacher in the classroom
  6. Make sure the light is put OFF when not in use
  7. Supervise the evening SUPW and forming lines
  8. Depute two cleaners to clean the classroom in turn
  9. Controlling the ban of package food
House Captains
  1. To assist the house master/mistress
  2. Supervise the house activities
  3. Nominate the participant for the various activities
  4. Provide equal opportunity to all the members
  5. Instill the sense of cooperation amongst the members
  6. Controlling the ban of package food
Roles and responsibilities of Caretaker
  1. Check classrooms windows and door.
  2. All printing works.
  3. Deliver letters, Check post box, bill payments and bank related work.
  4. Circulate notice, memos and subsitutions etc.
  5. Preparing and taking care of the Conference hall & staff room.
  6. Taking care of school properties
  7. Serving tea to guest
  8. To ring the bell on time
  9. Watch  the school compound and make rounds at night.
  10. Lock the gate at 8:30 PM and open at 7:30AM.
  11. Put on the Compound light at 8:30/8:00 PM and put off at 5 :00/6:00 AM(summer/winter timing).
  12. Helping with the minor maintenance work.
  13. Make sure the light are put OFF by the captains when not in use and check after the school hours.
  14. Make sure the water taps are closed when not in use and after the school hours.
  15. Burn the important paper waste i.e Examination wates papers.
  16. Assist the Principal in the office
  17. Receive the phone calls in absence of the Principals & Vice principals.
  18. Other additional work will be assigned during the term breaks.
Roles and responsibilities of  the Sweeper
  1. Clean students toilets daily.
  2. Store water in the toilet tank.
  3. Clean staff toilet daily.
  4. Prepare staff tea
  5. Clean staff room, conference hall, healthroom & office.
  6. Other additional responsibilities during the term breaks will be given accordingly.
