Refreshment committee

INTRODUCTION

Providing timely refreshment is highly necessary to insure the generation of lively discussion. It is also a good opportunity for the participants to relax and to prepare themselves for further participation. It is also a way of getting together and building co operation between colleagues. The committee also looks after the welfare affairs of the teachers.  Therefore, every important occasion in our school is followed by light or grand refreshment.

OBJECTIVES

·     To ensure that quality refreshments are provided on time and within the budget provisioned during various school events and occasions

·         To make sure that proper and most appropriate refreshments are served when the services are needed.

·         Make necessary arrangements for carrying out various welfare activities for the staff.

Responsibilities of the members
 Make necessary arrangements for any type of staff welfare scheme.

    Collection of staff monthly welfare fund and any other welfare collection according to our staff welfare norms.

·         Delegate job to the teachers during the grand occasion of the school.

·         To actively and equally participate in planning, organizing and making sure that the refreshments are provided on time

·         To be collectively responsible for ordering and procuring all refreshments items

·         To be collectively accountable and responsible for evaluating and verifying all bills after every event 

·         To prepare and submit all accounts at the end of every term to the school management.

·         To be fully transparent in all transactions and keep all records up to date.

·         To liaise closely with all the committees and school management for smooth functioning of all school events and occasions during the academic year.

PROCEDURE

·         The contribution for staff welfare affairs will be collected as per existing welfare norms.

·      For arranging the refreshments for various school events, the fund will be sourced from the SDF as and when needed.

·         All the bills of expenditures will be submitted to the SDF committee.

·         Calculated taxi fare will be kept from the collected amount for the transportation.
